The aim of this project was to turn a small space into a spacious
living loft-tiype apartment.
All rooms were designed and decorated to maximize the reduced
space including living room furniture, built in computer area,
entertainment center. Cabinets came from Home Depot in a well-thought
out plan. 2 bedrooms 3 baths. Rooftop loft level was added
with bamboo pergola garden patio area.
The living room was remodeled. The front patio was enclosed
and converted into a living room with an arched entryway added
leading into the dining/kitchen area.
The look is a combination of Mexican and contemporary with
artwork from Cuba and Mexico, pillow covers from Russia, Persian
rugs, ceramics from Cambodia and Vietnam. Carved bird from
Chile. Accessories are items brought back from travels collected
by owner including musical instruments from Cuba, Thailand
and Mexico.
Furniture is a blend of antiques Mexican and Indian carved
pieces.
